Tuesday, January 28 I did a site visit. His sense of fear has passed as he started to rationalize what transpired. The melted spot had grown due to warmer weather melting much of the snow in that part of his yard. I did check the ground where the object was seen and found no debris or evidence of anything. A magnetometer and EMF scan also yielded negative results. Moisture content of the soil was comparable to that elsewhere in that part of the yard. I also considered a mis-identification of the moon, however that could be ruled out because the moon was not visible from that window as the window faces northwest and the crescent moon would have been in the southeast at that date / time.
This case remains classified as 'unknown'.
Object Makes Contact With Witness - Monaca, Pa
The following is a summary of a case involving an object that made physical contact with a witness. The summary is derived from a transcript of a phone call after she contacted me via e-mail.
Date: July 17, 2025
Time: About 2:30 - 3:00 PM
Weather: Approximately 80 degrees F, It had rained earlier.
The witness described what happened as follows: I was going out to my garden to do a bit of weeding. Rain earlier had softened up the ground which made it easier to pull them out. I was about half-way to the garden when I saw a glowing ball of light about 5 feet above my sidewalk blocking my way. I stopped and it began moving slowly directly toward me. I was somewhat afraid of it but hey, this is MY yard and I was not about to be intimidated so I stood still and watched as it approached. It stopped about 2 inches away. Then it moved closer and actually touched me. It started to push and I began to back up a bit. It was then I fell backwards and landed on my back side. The ball raised up above me , floated there for a couple seconds then vanished. I don't know if it flew off or just disappeared, either way it suddenly just wasn't there anymore. I assessed my injuries and found the only thing I suffered seemed to be a skinned elbow where it hit the pavement, I looked at where it touched me and saw no evidence of anything".

The interview provided additional information and clarification. When asked about other details she said she could see no details on the object even when up close. She said when it contacted her it felt metallic but not stiff. She said the surface actually gave a little when it made contact. There was no electrical effects and that it felt cold as though it just came from a refrigerator. There was no sound. The only odor she reported was from her flowers in the garden. She earlier stated it "pushed" her. She clarified that by saying it more like a nudge, not really forceful. When asked about her falling she stated she tripped over a crack in the concrete and the object did not directly push her to the ground.
I asked about seeing the location. She had her son fly his drone over the area to give a perspective on how things were arranged. The images showed nothing unusual. A tree partially covered the walk between her house and the garden. The object would have been partially under the tree when the event began. Where she fell however was beyond the area covered by the tree limbs. The break in the pavement is also visible in the images and allows for the object to be "floating" directly above her.
On a follow-up contact she stated her plants had begun blooming less. I did a check on weather conditions and there was also a radical change over the last 2 weeks. It had become much hotter and no rain at all for the last 9 days. This could account for the change in the garden so it cannot be stated the object was involved in this aspect. It's likely the plants were simply responding to the change in environmental conditions
Her son also stated she has been reading about these things online, and had asked him about a case where similar event had led to an alien abduction. That turned out to be a sci-fi story and he advised her not to be too concerned with some of the stuff she encountered online. We had a bit of a laugh over that!
